Simulation Links
From WickedSim
There's a variety of simulation sites on the Web, but many are limited to a particular region or require membership of a society or group. That said, several still contain useful information (which is really what we're interested in). Try our list of links.

A list of links
- The Ventriloscope --- Simulate any sound in a stethoscope… WIRELESSLY and anywhere on the body. Frustrated by poor audio quality, or a small selection of sounds…? Make your own custom, limitless sound library for your full body mannequin! PURE GENIUS!
- The Sydney Medical Simulation Centre --- a site with a number of goodies!
- The Society for Simulation in Healthcare has a list of simulation centres as a major asset.
- International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning
- MSR --- The Israel Centre for Medical Simulation ('changing the face of medical education')
- IST --- the University of Central Florida Institute for Simulation and Training
- The Harvard Center for Medical Simulation (rudimentary pages at present)
- Advanced (American) Initiatives in Medical Simulation --- AIMS
- `The Simulation Group' at CIMIT
- Simulation in Healthcare Education
- Jeffrey Taekman's Simblog --- sparsely populated but interesting. (He's at Duke University).
- The Oregon Simulation Alliance (Read more about it in Michael Seropian's article: Anesthesiol Clin. 2007 Jun;25(2):271-82, PubMed ID 17574190)
- PatientSimulation.co.uk has a number of interesting links, and some Meti and SimMan scenarios (but you first must submit a scenario to join). Not a bad idea, but we simply love the Wiki approach!
- The Canadian Medical Simulation site
- Laerdal has a very pretty simulation site, fairly high bandwidth and (of course) largely SimMan-centric! You will have to sign-up to view a lot of their material.
- MediSmart has a list of simulators and tutorials, mainly directed at nurses.
You'll find several more simulation links on our introductory page.

Societies
We'd be happy for simulation societies to update this page with brief notes on their organisations. Take for example ...

The Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSiH)
Formerly the Society for Medical Simulation, the SSiH acquired its current name in 2006.[1] You can find out more details about the society on their home page.
