I've been meaning to put up a little something on METI hardware once I get my thoughts on the matter organized, but in the meantime I'm noticing that there haven't been any updates in over a week. :( That's really too bad, I'm sure somebody out there has something to contribute. I wonder why more people haven't jumped on this opportunity?

Hi Aurel, I wouldn't get too distressed. We should simply plug on, adding stuff as we see fit. My belief is that pages should grow 'organically', and that once a certain critical mass has been reached (and the right 'flavour' is present) then things may well take off. I've personally been very busy doing some software development, and also at work.

HPS Suctioning
Has anyone come up with a way to simulate suctioning fluid out of a METI HPS? I want to run a suction catheter into the HPS lungs and suction fluid out. I, however, know better than to put fluid into the "lungs" of an HPS. Any Suggestions?

This is an extremely good question! I'm not aware of an existing solution, but thinking about it one possible solution would be a subtly modified suction catheter with a fine internal cannula which ends within the lumen of the suction catheter itself! Then fluid could go in and out through the same cather without messing up the HPS lungs. Will toy with this idea when I have a free moment. (Just my 2c).
